This looks awesome for anyone that can make it..

Unless I'm reading it wrong, this is just for shooting the promo trailer.  Seems a bit overkill.  Or is it just poor wording?

Pre production footage, so likely a little longer than a trailer but effectively yes a trailer :D

OK.  Definitely weird requirements then.  200m swim for some blokes doing a trailer?  It looks like they've used the same document that they would use to find the actual contestants.

No talk of payment, or at the least covering expenses.

They just want people who look the part and look like they can handle weapons without having to fork out to pay people.

Yup.  Seems pretty cheeky.  And you have to make a video for them too.  Seems like this is something to initiate funding for a concept.

That's almost exactly what it'll be. You'll spend all day sitting around bored out of your nut, then treated like dirt when they need you. This isn't a good opportunity, it's a company trying to cheap out and use people for free

I'll be honest as a currently serving member of HM Forces...for a film trailer...the requirements seem a bit overkill, they're talking about testing you on base level fitness assessments for the Police in order to ....film you.  You're not going into a live environment nor are you going for a job that could potentially secure you a 26k a year.

If you can do all of that stuff if i'm honest...go and join the Police it'll give you much more of a reward!

Do I detect the voice of experience there?

I'm guessing it's a desirable position so ramping up the bleep test requirement is an easy way to weed lots of people out.

My point was more that 9.4 isn't exactly a barrier to most people.  Especially on a 15m test!

Ha.  Yeah.  Didn't see the 15m.  What a joke.  Still, as you say, not a massive challenge even on 20m thinking about it.
