when my team mates cant see if there is anyone in there and i can count their teeth, i may come in useful lol

^^Is there anything preventing you from putting an Element M105 spring in it and, once you have spotted the opposition, shooting them as well?

a couple of pics of me from the recent weekend at black ops cribbs,

both were taken first thing sunday morning some time between 6 and 7 am

the upgrades will happen at some point. I have a guy sourcing and fitting the parts needed to do the job without sacrificing reliability. He reckons £50 will get me up 60 fps without destroying my gearbox. Seemingly TM are under strict control so they cant take much without further upgrades. I think he makes a living from being an airsoft tech so I am not inclined to disagree with him. It is a little embarrassing having a pistol with higher fps than my rifle

I've been there. Which is how I found out two very important things. Firstly, never fuck about with a TM gearbox. Secondly, the "I've upgraded x and now y doesn't work so I'll have to buy z" rabbit hole is VERY deep indeed.

the priority now is a change to MTP. i won an auction for a smock but finding the shirt and trousers in the right size for the right price is proving tricky. its most short and skinny or tall and portly. my size is in short supply

Yeah, TM gears are made from cheese. Except the sector gears... they're chocolate. The pistons and piston heads are no better than the cheapest Chinese clones and their stock motors are worse. But the gb shells seem to be good and the little springs. I just can't quite get my head around using torx cap head bolts to hold the gb shell halves together - maybe by making it more difficult to get the gb open they hope to preserve the mystique that they charge 3x more for...

Got back from Okto Eight yesterday and quite a few pictures have been taken. It was an absolute fantastic day out and I recommend to anyone who wants to come in the future (That extremely good looking guy in the top right is me whilst we were resting up at our FOB)

Oh, here's a massive group photo of us all at the end of the day

I also managed to get a pic of the MPF team, showing off with their big guns

Great weekend even if my rifle failed me and I had to borrow one.

What were you wearing curly. Trying to wonder if I saw you at all

The mountain gun fires 2 stage pyros. At the moment the photo of it was taken, the Allied team was sneaking to the edge of the woods just out of frame to the left. I tried a bayonet charge as the Germans were totally unprepared (notice the guy lying down in the bottom right). It would have worked but only 2 people came with me. We died about 5 meters from the gun :(
