There is 2 clips on the top that you can attach a rail to;



You can get short or tall rails. I used a tall one as I wear a face mask and find it easier when the sights are higher;



 
The G&G comes with a 2" rail that clamps into those grooves.

It comes loose so you either fit the rail or not.
