Nope, the title just indicates that the thread should be in the "places to buy" section. A correct title would for example have been "where to get a g36 cnc ras handguard?" or if you posted in the right section, simply "G36 CNC RAS Handguard"

Hmm, the where to buy forum would seem to be a place to "Tell us about your experiences buying from different shops" (to quote the strapline on the forum itself), making it a reporting information type of forum, rather than a requesting information type of forum.

In absentia of a specific forum for posting queries on where to buy things, I don't think it is particularly out of place where it is.

That said, it wouldn't have offended many people if it had been there, I'm sure.

Aren't we lucky. There are two "right" answers to a not really important issue.

Site seems a bit confused. its about 500g which is about right for aluminium but material is just listed as nylon.

if you gonna put that one on your KV the barrel aint gonna show much out of the end.I I have a KV sized RIS on mind and there is about 7/9 inches of barrel+ flash hider, Would be ok I think on a G36E as this has a longer barrel. But you could always loose the flash hider and silencer in its place. If it is made of metal of some sort it gonna be heavy as I said I've got one on my KV and it is heavy and that beast looks twice the size.

I just bought 5 L1A1 midcaps direct from Crystal @Ares - I didn't get charged any import tax. The package label said toy parts and we needn't go into any other details.
I'm not sure posting that email address on a public forum is the friendly thing to do, mind. who knows what spammer's bots will pick it up?

yes but the SRC g36kv has a longer barrel it's nearer to the G36e than a G36k.

I found the email on other more popular airsoft forums, so its already out there.

The longer one will look a bit wierd on the KV, as the gas block will still be quite far back down the rails.
