Can I use normal mags in a gas blow back?

Hi, I've been in airsoft for about 2 years and I own a JG G36C, and it's kinda broke (jaming up) and I'm thinking about buying a gas blow back M4. I was wondering if I could use normal mags ( not gas - standard spring ) in a gas blow back? Sounds stupid question but I can't find the answer anywhere !

No, gas magazines hold gas, normal AEG magazines do not.
