Why is it that Royal Mails tracking has now gone to pot

Hardley ever works for me and when it does its limited at best

I have a parcel that was collected yesterday in Scotland and no updates since then.

They are happy to increase the cost of everything from them, but don't really seem to improve their service much

Anyway rant over

Its a tracked service, Tracked 48

The app seems to work, just doesnt show any more updates,

Im very inpatient at times

If I can I will use any other delivery company, DPD and Evri have been great for me

Don't get me wrong, our postie is great,

Try https://parcelsapp.com/ pulls from just about everywhere and seems to show every time its digitally scanned into a system unlike Royal Mails. Hope its of some help.

Cheers,  shows the same as RM,

Guess it probably hasn't been scanned since it was collected, next scan will hopefully be when it hits the central hub

Lad at my local post office told me a while ago that PF use two different types of tracking depending on what service/price you pay

One only shows when the item is delivered

The more expensive shows each step of its journey through their system along with an “out for delivery” with an eta

Royal Fail tracking is a joke. I've had items delivered that were still showing as being hundreds of miles away.

Until the item is in your hands, it's still the seller's responsibility, and only they can make a claim against it. It's quite literally their problem. Don't sweat it, but if it doesn't show up in the promised timeframe, start a refund / chargeback process, and don't close it until you have the item or the money.

The seller has already said I can get my money back if it doesnt arrive

Id rather it arrive though so I dont have to start looking again for my new Pistol

I have no reason to not trust him, 100% feedback rating on here

Patience is a virtue, Alloa is just a few miles away from me & the whole area was affected by storm Eowyn, I'm waiting on a small item too that is being returned by Royal Mail as they can't read my address, I'm pretty sure the posty was juggling it in the high winds & dropped it in a puddle. Your package will arrive soon just like mine.

Just wish RM would notify people of this, instead of just saying all services ran to schedule the previous day, as thats clearly not the case

In case you can't tell, I don't like waiting for things, especially when other order shipped later have arrived

So the seller has let me know that out of the 12 that were sent on Monday at the same time as mine, 10 have arrived at their destinations

Also shows that the DO has been able to despatch packages on to the hubs etc

Makes me think someone at RM is having fun with my Pistol ?

We finally have updated tracking

It reached Manchester so should hopefully arrive today

But the sage continues, its not arriving today now,

Just had to pay a fee as sadly RM are saying the correct postage wasnt paid for

The seller has said he will refund me this once I have the package, so off to the DO in the morning in the hopes they hand it over rather than making me wait for them to deliver it on Monday
