It has a 14mm CCW thread so yes. You might have to check the stock muzzle device to see if it has a grub screw that secures it in place before you unscrew it.

It has a 14mm CCW thread so yes. You might have to check the stock muzzle device to see if it has a grub screw that secures it in place before you unscrew it.

Bear in mind that the flash hider on that goes inside the handguard. You'll need to make sure that whatever tracer unit you get is no bigger diameter than will fit inside the same space.

Ordered some wires from ak2m4. They will definitely be fine for this and a lot cheaper than PB

Less than 200mm is going to be less than accurate (yeah yeah "muh MK23" I know), as for longest? Much more than 300mm depends on what FPS you're running. I'd rather haver a decent quality 300mm in whatever length outer takes my fancy than trying to match the inner to the outer on a full length M14. Remember that the volume of the cylinder/swept area needs to match up with your barrel length whatever length you do go with.

I'm looking at a TM NGRS SCAR-L, just as a general assault rifle, not for CQB or DMR use. Apparently you can go to 365mm with the standard outer barrel length (which i'd keep) whereas it comes with a 300mm barrel as standard.

Should be acceptable enough for airsoft use.  The weird thing is that quite a few of the Syrian rebels, making good progress at the moment, are using Smersh webbing.  Think they sourced theirs from the Far East rather than Russia.

Dumb question about batteries:

Is there any issue in running 2 batteries in parallel? I can't see why there would be, but maybe there's something specific about AEGs i don't know.

(Marui NGRS M4 with Li-Po instead of proprietry crane/SOPMOD battery.)

That's a fair point. Some of the far Eastern made stuff had some interesting takes. Seen variants coming with Cobra style buckles and loops.

If you do go down the route, let us know how you get on with it. Imagine the original Russian stuff is not going to get any easier to obtain with the various Geopolitical developments of the last few years.
