It's a TP-22

https://eu.novritsch.com/product/TP22-gas-blowback-pistol/

170 euros. Lots of pros on paper: tdc hop, non dropping barrel, glock mag compatable. It's made by ushot and novritsch is the distributer for them. It's says on wgc that the oem is TTI. Not heard of them either. It's only £88 on wgc but oos. https://www.wgcshop.com/products/ushot-ps-tp22

Its a bit ugly isn't it, but I'm at the stage now where just do long as the pistol shoots where I point it I'm happy!

I can't stand that cunt Novritsch so I'm not gonna support him anyway especially not financially.

Btw you can get that gun from here a lot cheaper: TP22.

You want a functional pistol? Buy a TM
True, they are great. But I'm after a pistol that'll hop heavy bbs that isn't a mk23. I was expecting my TM fnx45 to do that but mine didn't unfortunately. My TM hi capa is definitely the most accurate pistol I have though ?

You can get TDC kits for Hi-Capa's and even just an aftermarket hop unit should do the job.

I'd rather build an AAP for €170, or just get a TM anything.

But I'm sure this pistol will be okay and people will buy it because I see a hell of a lot of Novritsch stuff around on skirmish days.

Thanks. I've just had a look on hi capa hub and TTI themselves (the oem of this horrible looking pistol) make a tdc hop chamber for a hi capa. This has been an education! Thank you.

You also see a lot of Nov stuff in the classifieds here.
Probably listed after folk realise he has polished and overpriced a cheap turd

Hi, I am not picking or meaning this condescendingly, but I genuinely wonder what the reason is you aren't keen on him? Maybe I have missed some sort of controversy.

I looked around on reddit and seems he basically re-brands and adds a premium?

Cheers :)

Bloody hell that's fugly.

I always thought he comes across as a bit of a tit in his videos but I can't really fault him for wanting to make a living from the hobby (I'm sure we all would if we could). Yes his stuff is all just cheap rebrands with a big mark up, but nobody is forced to buy it. What gets my goat is the cult of personality his sickophantic followers have built up around him.

Edit: from a quick Google search he has been caught out writing and posting "independent" reviews of his products under a different name

He's very successful charging people for more when basically he puts a logo on guns. He's ike Umarex or Cybergun in one person.

That guy is full of controversy. Templars Gear fiasco is a good example of that.

Thanks for the answer mate! He's a vet too (which I respect) I think and that probably adds weight to the sales pitch.

He must be loaded so I also sort of respect his shrewd businessman dealings in a way. I suppose he is merely exploiting the buy low - sell high paradigm.

Cheers

My understanding is that he was a six month conscript.  If anyone has different information, I would be interested.

Been looking at one of those too - called the TTI Infinity IIRC? Fits 1911s which i'm looking at getting. They're £10 cheaper on Skirmshop if you're bothered.

I've used the TTI TDC VSR hop unit in my sniper and it works a treat so I can't see the pistol one being poor.

Indeed it is; I am not sure that I would describe someone who was conscripted for six months as a veteran.

That would depend on anyone’s personal definition of veteran.  Some countries define it and some don’t

In the UK it is any person who has served a minimum of one day in the regular or presence armed forces (and since left), or merchant navy on a military operation.  These are the qualifiers for support for service leavers, qualifying under the armed forces covenant and generally by service related charities etc with various different methods of validating that until the introduction of veterans badges and more recently the veterans card.

Novritsch ‘claims’ to have trained as a sniper in his national service, and markets airsoft products including ‘sniper’ related gear

Its not as if he’s claiming to be the 3rd sniper on the balcony

I am not arguing that he is claiming to have been anything that he was not, just that the term "veteran" may not be entirely appropriate for someone who did six months national service.

However, I do find the UK definition vaguely ridiculous; both of my sons would qualify as veterans if they ended their reserve service now, but I know that they would be utterly embarrassed to apply the description to themselves.

I occasionally mention my time in the TA but would never claim to be a veteran of any kind, I usually stress that it was the TA incase anyone suspects I'm a Walter.

Closest I ever got to deployment was my call up papers for the first Gulf War, it was over before we even got in a landy.

I see how many Reservists actually get deployed these days & feel embarassed about my service.
