The 'What have you just bought' Thread

I saw that

Battery makes it heavy huh! ?

Ive a new pouch for it on the way, A Ferro Wingman style, going to tuck it in at the front. I Might possibly need to relocate the antenna moving forwards.

I've been building a Lone Survivor style RRV and it's currently nestled in an Eagle 152/MBITR pouch. Old school for the win!

relocate the antenna moving forwards.
You'll need to relocate it from your left nostril 3-4 times each game :)

Joking aside... sure I've seen some loadouts with the antenna weaved through molle over the player/ squadies shoulder.

Personally I thought that was cool which automatically stops it being 'ally'.

Where about did you source all this from? Was looking for some parts for my WE too as I need a new mag valve and thought I might as well get posh ones + the fancy routers to see if they make much of a difference at all

Decided to get an old school MP5 for my King County Sheriff loadout as i wanted one with a sliding stock and the S-E-F lower has grown on me compared to all my other MP5s with the Navy lowers! I just wish i could find an MP5K PDW folding  stock to swap a kidney for so I could swap out the hideous modern CQB style one!!

Popped into my local shop to ask about some AK mags, got shown the LCT catalog… Left with an order for an LCT RPK-74, Molot furniture and a drum mag for said RPK… ?

Just received a nice little wingman style pouch for the ar152 radio which tucks it inside my rig, also a new m4 pouch to allow an extra mag on my belt to spread the weight of the gbbr mags.

new headset cover and gel cups for my headset. These are so SOO comfortable

Local shops do have a nasty habit of knowing how to encourage us to buy more toys than we went in to buy..  XD

Double post from the VFC M249 thread...    but first parcel finally delivered by UPS...

- set of 3 spare mags,

- Para stock

- Spare end plate for green power supply gas box mag

- And the new CO2 power supply box mag

All from WGC shop.

Also ordered some 88g co2 cartridges from Ebay, so hopefully next weekend I will get a chance to try the gun out at a site and see how the CO2 power supply works out

Just arrived in time for tomorrow's game day; pair of Earmor m20 in ear protection. Testing them in my room they seem to work well, but I need a game day to see how they really fare. Can't wear a full headset with my ghillie setup as it's a boonie + cape, so hoping these are at least decent. Will wear them also under my bowman headset that I use for comms (as that goes under my boonie nicely)

Would like to see how your experience compares to mine. I have the M20-T and i'll be running them tomorrow... if I remember to put them in.

Although I am waiting for it to dispatch. The new gas BO Fabarm STF-12-11, in black - from Patrolbase. Not to be confused with the VFC one released years ago.

I am looking to convert it, if possible, to a 20 inch outer barrel and extended magazine tube + barrel clamp  : )

I really liked them. Didn't work amazingly over a bowman headset, but the bowman headset didn't work well with my boonie and would've given me a headache as it made it too tight. For £30 I was very happy with the noise cancellation and the very strong ambient sound amplification. The sound amplification was actually too good and all I could hear when I was moving through foliage was the foliage itself brushing past me and any and all creaking in my gear setup. Once I was deployed in a hide though, they were amazing and I heard absolutely everything. £30 well spent for sure.

My experience was very much the same. I could hear pretty much everything happening around me which is much more beneficial when you're static. I could hear peoples guns firing clear as day making me think they were closer than they really were. I even took them out for a comparison and the difference is crazy. Without them, the 'clarity' of the sound is way better but I could hear way less if that makes sense.

Definitely going to be using them pretty much all the time after this.
