Load-Out / Loadout Picture topic

Haha. Just an observation on my part. Sometimes a photo is taken from a certain perspective and it can contain a element that takes on a different role.

It looked to me that the suppressor was attached to the helmet forming a handle. Just my warped soh.?

The loadout looks great though?

Regards
Hahaha yeah now I see it

Updated my ww1 uniform end of last month.

Using information supplied to me by my local museum, I have made and added unit identifier patches to signify A company, 7th service battalion Northamptonshire regiment of the 24th infantry division,  to make the uniform look less plain,  though I may need to trim the yellow saltire down a little..

I even have a pair of original brass "Northapton" shoulder titles on the shoulder tabs and an original Northamptonshire regiment cap badge on my cap (though it may need relocating slightly to sit flush on my cap)

1908 webbing needs minor adjustments to fit better,  and I have had to make a concession and add a 37 pattern webley holster so I can carry a sidearm, as my Lee enfield has been upgraded and now has a MED.

Been following @Venture_Surplus on IG for a while now and took inspiration from his Eagle Industries Warbelt posts.

I’ve only ever seen them set up as shooters belts / battle belts with minimal pouches before.

I’ve gone for something a Lay-out which would be more familiar to PLCE / The custom sets from Dragon supplies etc.

From left to right:

EI Frag Pouch ( might replace this one with a smoke pouch in future)

Quad  magazine pouch with USMC dump pouch attached to the bottom row of molle on the back of the pouch. Rolls up neatly underneath it and seems like it will work.

a blank molle row to receive a replica OKC-3S bayonet which is en route.

1QT canteen pouch

MBITR pouch

M60 pouch for us as a general utility pouch.

1QT canteen pouch

two double magazine pouches

EI Frag pouch.

"Downed Airman" Vietnam kit is just about done - close enough to share at least. I still need a faithful shotshell pouch and due to the EPM-1S mags being taller than standard 20 rounders I need to either get 30 round mag pouches or general small arms mag pouches - still undecided on those. Also waiting for helmet parts to arrive - some missing bolts, fresh straps and foam, etc but none of that is visible so itll look the same as it does now. Ill actually play with it with the visor up and proper eyepro instead, but for pics visor down is Ace.

How about some Tiger Stripe and 1970’s porn star ‘tache for the full Flight of the Intruder look. ??

Not much I can currently do about the tiger stripe, but a little doctoring of the ol facial hair can get something close to the desired effect. Only works with the face covering as the full beard ruins the look overall.

I always think of this when I see these kind of loadouts. Not my cuppa at all but you do you :P

I'm not much a fan of multicam or multicam adjacent camos (sorry, the super-duper-serious-business milsim crowd ruined it), but I love the desert MARPAT. Good to see someone else rocking it!

Comms headset: earmor

That's a great looking kit. I was wondering about your headset as i've also been looking for one that attaches to the rear mounts of my helmet and you happen to have exactly what I want. Personally, I don't need it for comms, more for aesthetics and the active hearing protection. Where'd you get it from? What's the sound quality like?

Those are OpsCore AMP Arms, or a clone of them. They're a fantastic bit of kit and IMO both hold earpro a bit more evenly on the head and are easier to swivel off the head than the two-prong wire ones that attach to the top rail. Plus they allow you to use your upper rails for whatever.

Gotcha. I'll wait for @TipsyDiver to reply as I want to know their exact headset setup so I can get a gauge on quality. It looks like a set of Earmor M32 but i'm not totally sure.
