Just got this 'TCU' installed, works great:

See how much wobble there would be without it:

In all it's crap-camera glory. I had another offer I couldn't refuse with this little beast. Tanaka m700 with a real steel Remington m700 wood stock. £400 all in for an upgraded, out of production rifle. The KJW m700 was the one on my list, so when I got this offer I was like "yeah, I can't say no to that, as much as I really should as I've already spent way too much"

One of the mags needs fettling, but it shoots nicely and is nice and quiet! :D

I wanted one of these when I was a teenager, way back in 2006 when one of my team mates had one. 15 years later and I finally have one.

Good face pro is the only thing entirely necessary to get involved in an airsoft game.  Well done on looking past the pile of shiny bullshit all stores constantly push on the player base and focusing on what matters (by far) the most.

If you maintain the same mindset as you continue on in the hobby you'll find you spend almost no down time in the safe zone or not going to games you wanted to attend because your guns and/or gear have failed you; a problem endemic to all sorts of players both new and seasoned on many occasions.
Thanks! Had that second day today. What a blast. Was so much more fun having decent visibility as the rental are full face mesh. The goggles and mask married up almost perfect with no gap between them. Sweated my ass of and didn't fog up either as the Raiders are slim but full seal and vented. And the mesh lower was extremely comfortable and did the job perfect. Got shot in the ear at close range and heard a loud ping that no doubt would have been extremely painful if i didn't have ear pro. Also the fabric cheeks make welding to the stock very easy compared to the rental mask. So all in all very happy with my first purchases and my second game day

Don't pull to much on the wires coming out of the plastic housing..they're quite delicate....  Mine didn't last long...so try not move from rifle to rifle like I did....think I pulled on the wires to much. (Couldnt' fix it either.) But still was very handy when it worked. :)

Flash bang lighter

Will look cool on the loadout and handy for those pyros that don’t wanna spark up the regular way (pistol to show scale) it’s pretty big ?

Got this second hand for a very low price. Firesupport used to do this as a custom option. Its a tm recoil ak102 with lct furniture and a modified ak hop unit to allow the use of regular ak mags. It needs a new selector plate and a few screws here and there but otherwise seems in very good nick. And at the end of the day it cost me little enough that I can probably flog the lct furniture and get most of my money back!

Had one of these in my basket last time they did a run of them, was sold out when I went to pay and I don’t think they’re planning on doing any more ☹️
tbf they keep saying this is the last run and then do another one. its a bit like the M81 ferro slingsters...

"it's the last time guys, we know we have said this for the last 5 years but we mean it this time"

So you may get another chance yet, i think this was their 2nd or 3rd run of them.

Acetech Bifrost

because

colors.........
Just bought a Acetec Brighter C and showed my son how bright it was. He liked it and said "a rainbow blast would be cool". Not knowing i had watched 4uad's video earlier. Now he's got a Bifrost!

Do not know what gun he will put it on as he runs  WW2 Russian kit. The ppsh 41 would be funny (don't mention the Mosin). Probably borrow one off of me and never see it again.

Hit Amazon earlier. Purchased a load of EVA for my armour project that will start shortly and a new pair of knee pads as my previous ones bit the dust.

Bought one too. Haven't had chance to try it yet as I haven't got a rif yet. One more game to get my ukara but I didn't want it to be out of stock by the time I had a rif. So just bought it ;)

Also just got some Mechanix Mpact gloves so my PPE is all complete now.

Bolle Raider goggles (with prescription inserts)

Onetigris lower mesh with ear protectors

Mechanix Mpact gloves

Viper tactical cap

Fabric mesh neck scarf

Really happy with all the PPE. Definitely the most important purchases initially in my eyes. Not cheaped out on it and it's all super comfy.

Then accessories...

Acetech Bifrost

Feyachi RDS-36 red/green dot

Feyachi RS-29 reflex

ALL black for that stealth look. Just need that rif now... will update here when my wallet takes the biggest hit in the near future... hint. A TM gbbr is on my horizon. Cant wait!!

A few little bits and pieces have turned up in the last couple of days...

The sling was from Action Hobbies' bargain bin.  Bought on a whim, it's pretty good.   It'll get replaced by a QD 2-point sling eventually.
The scope mounts are a bargain from Ant Supplies.  Delivered very quickly, free p&p.  I decided these mounts are too low, so I straight away ordered some extra tall ones, £6.50
(I've got a decent red-dot, but fancied using that old 4x32 scope I've had since I was a kid, to see how it plays)

The M4 tool came from Ant Supplies too.  Thought it'd be useful to have when I'm futzing around with my old CA M15.

The Kombat UK holster is pretty decent for a cheapo.  At least if fits on my Molle properly, unlike the belt loop one I had before that I had to lash in place with paracord.

The BB Pouch was also bought on a whim... it'll be useful if I keep running hi-caps, perhaps even more so if I go ahead with buying mid-caps.

And last, and perhaps least, the Project Airsoft stubby grip.   Hmmm... 3D-printed rather than moulded, not what I really expected.  It fits fine, but just looks cheap close-up.   The grey grip tape is so fierce it can do double duty as a sanding block, but I guess it'll grip into my gloves (and perhaps shred them).  The best thing about is - I'm now sure I want a vertical grip on my gun - so I'll go and buy this one from Airsoft Anonymous

I got a couple more bits from Project Airsoft that aren't in the pic (as they're small and wouldn't show) - a high-cap mini funnel device, and a M92 gas mag 'thumb saver'.  The funnel will work, but I'll probably lose it.   The M92 doesn't fit my M9 mag (but probably will with some filing)... and I'll probably lose that too!
