I got some gas today and after filling it I can hear it hissing out the fill valve. it's slow and quiet but if I stick my ear near I can hear it clearly - rather than returning for a replacement and such would just getting a replacement valve work? I did a quick search on patrolbase and saw that they aren't exactly standardized; https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/baal-gas-filling-valve-for-we-kj-gbb-series / https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/asg-kwa-magazine-bottom-fill-valve - I'll screw the valve out later and wrap the thread in plumbing tape and then try it, also will take a pic of what it looks like - but don't suppose anyone has an answer to this offhand?

By the way what's the point in the space for 2 extra shells in the cylinder below the barrel? to get them out you have to unscrew this cap on the end which takes about 30 seconds, and it seems to be literally just for storing 2 shells because it doesn't load a new one in or anything. Anyone know how to switch from 3 shot to 6 or back etc? I saw how in a youtube vid a while ago but I can't find the one that shows how again.

Edit: Valve pics. I wrapped the thread in plumbing tape and put it back in tight, filled it up, can still hear a hissing coming from the valve although not as bad as before. based on what the valve looks like can anyone point me to where I can find a suitable replacement? it looks pretty standard to me and as long as it fits into the stock on the gun I don't see much of a problem with regards to compatability(?).

Did you try just putting a drop of 30 weight silicon on the valve and working it in and out a little to get the silicon into the valve? I have had a few gas mags on various rifs that leak at first but if lubed and then gassed a few times they settle down. When I say gassed I mean a few short bursts to help the silicon in and a full fill to get it under pressure. Can take a couple of goes. Never failed me yet...

I put a couple drops of abbey silicone oil on the o-ring and then wrapped the thread in plumbing tape, put it back together, a lot less leaking but I only got about 7 shots out of it before I was out of gas - did I maybe not fill the gun up enough in fear of over-filling it? how many seconds (roughly) should I hold the can over the fill port? I usually do it for 5-7 seconds or until it starts 'spewing' out and leaving a liquid residue, so I'm guessing the internal gas storage on the gun isn't huge, but it's nowhere near what I have read as advertised - I should be able to use this as a main, but 7 shots before I'm out is pretty silly. I'm using Nuprol Green Gas V2.0 - would it be better with a different gas? 

I love this gun though, just holding it and pumping it feels great.

Well, they finally arrived. Ordered August 2nd, arrived yesterday. Good quality though. These are the Airsoft Face Pro version, I've not got my hands on a Delta Mike to compare.

Can't knock the quality of the Airsoft Face Pro products, just his service of over promise / under deliver coupled with some fictitious postage details & verrrrrrrry long lead times is the reason why I now pick up these things from Delta Mike Face Pro

To be fair I've never felt lied to, but then I've not really asked anything. The first time I chased it I was told that they'd be with me tomorrow, and they were!

How does the comfort of the Delta Mike compare?

Funny that, when I ordered mine I got excuse after excuse then told he posted it and hadn't. Finally posted it saying he would add in a gift for me being patient. Like fuck did he. I'll be sending Delta Mike my customs going forward.

Ah shit, never realised it was that bad, just thought it was a slow as fuck service. Based on the wait time and what's been said, I'll likely be going Delta Mike if I need more in the future.
