Whats the worst experience with 'Cod Softers'

Off topic: I remember the original medal of honour, cracking game. I'm not surprised you thought you had amazing airsoft skills after playing it haha
I still have the first CoD and MoH. I prefer CoD because the story was more 'deep' and had better 'character development'.

I remember being scared of the first mission from MoH because towards the end of the first mission there was a set double door and when you got close it would suddenly open with german guns blazing.

Same with Toy Story 2 with the Tin Robot boss. It chases you around making weird noises and I was terrified...

My first game was in December 2012. I had a JBBG gun, which held up quite well as I was in CQB situations, and was absolute pish- I think that I only hit out 2 people that day...

My first game was with a cheap two tone trishot, a pocket full of shells and some well worn camo. Got my ass handed to me many times over but really enjoyed it (obviously).

Came back for more and listened to everyone/read everything I could find on my new hobby.

Hmm well i can thankfully say i've not bumped into any CoD softers but my first fps was the original Doom and my my gun at my first skirmish was a rental M4 i guess it was a TM as it was pre Chinese clone days.

I know its hard with the younger generation and i know its probably just me as i was an instructor for the air cadets for many years but next time you see or hear something a bit "beyond belief" try and give them some of your time and help educate them to help increase the game play from them...if you can do it right the respect they feel for you ant other will increase and help them to realise the reality of computer games to reality to airsoft :) . We all deserve a chance to be helped at some point.

Its great to read about peoples first airsoft experiences. As I'm still new I'm really crap lol, I am still wondering where people are enjoying at just before I get hit.

My first skirmish was a bit of a nightmare, I brought & was wearing way too much kit....so was sweating like a sumo wrestlers gusset I had no idea what was going on & being hit from all directions. The Kiss principle has now taken hold of my load out & i've trimmed down my kit significantly since then.

And I'm also learning the skills to be more useful

hi fumps.....good to hear you want to have all that you need and no more :) ....the gameplay will come...just take it slow do not jump into situations without thought :) also watch the guys that work well and try and learn....where do you play?
