If it's anything like our place it always goes like this:

Bossman "You watch the match last night then?"

Me "No, I don't like football"

Bossman "But it was an England match!"

Me "But I don't like football"

Bossman "Yeah, but you have to watch England matches! EVERYONE watches England matches"

Me "But I don't like football, you know this. I tell you this EVERY time you ask if I watched the match last night"

Bossman "...so did you see that save in the second half?"

Me *frenzied rage killing playing out in my head* "No. I don't like football"

Sounds about right.

When you get 2 of them nattering on about how such and such is being offered the megabucks to join some other team but they think such and such is past it cos he's too old and so and so would be a better pick but its not transfer season yet and the 5th league wickets are stacked against the team that everyone normally thinks should win because they've kicked more home runs than anyone else in the past 5 years but that was all due to such and such who's practically a demigod of the ball handling but not any more apparently.

And then the building burned to the ground......

In Dungeons and Dragons, before all this Advanced frippery, "elf" and "dwarf" were character classes - only humans could choose their class.  They assumed that all non-human X or Y acted exactly identically, just as we might say "All HPA users are over-shooting, chrono-cheating spam-buckets".

Ouch. Not -too- pricey, I hope. I wear my cheapo smartwatch, but it's always under my glove; fortunately my fingerless cover it nicely.

It was covered but all the hits are pretty hard when you’re playing CQB.

You could get a very nice side-arm for the cost to fix it. Lesson learned the hard way.

Today I learned that gate titans that I have not previously had a problem with, saved it all up for this morning and royally shi*t the bed and is now completely dead.

My dad had the same problem. Last game it just went poof. No warning, no discernable reason, nothing. I'm going to keep using mine as long as it works and if it dies in just getting a warfet.

That's very annoying to happen. Had one of mine go recently, the saving grace was that it was just a basic model. 

Picked up a Perun Hybrid V3 to give it a go in the future.
