guessing it was noobs tryin to get a win by any means, but what excactly happened though mate?

I won't quit completely I just won't attend public games anymore. I play more private games than normal skirmishes anyway so its no biggie for me.

Airsoft for me is all about the camaraderie and fun so as that seems to slipping away its losing it's appeal for me.

I hear too many people getting arsey and shouty and its annoying. I think marshalls need to be more proactive on player behaviour and players need to learn to chill out. I am so tired of hearing people bitch when they get shot because at the end of the day thats what you go for.

I knew I was getting tired of it a while ago when I heard two players plotting to get me thrown out of a game, thats sort of thing is not what airsoft is about its honour based.

So yeah while airsoft growing is good for the business side of things I think maybe not so for the players unless sites clamp down on the idiots.

It happened a while ago but it was the first thing that made me start realising how much of a nob some airsofters are.
I was at my local site down stairs wondering around in the dark corridors shooting an enemy or two when I overheard two players discussing me. They were getting a bit upset that I kept getting the upper hand when they were trying to get me. Unknown to them while they were discussing how they were going to report me for none hit taking and blind firing and other infractions I was stood about six foot away around the corner listening. So after I sent them back to respawn I went and found a marshall and told him what I had just overheard. I don't know if they did actually try and report me as nothing came back to me but the fact that two players who didn't actually seem to know each other were willing to join up and lie about another player left a bad taste.

Wow that's awful, see the players you need are the ones that make a joke about how you keep getting them or congratulating you! I'd love do do private games but I don't really know enough people to do it!

Yeah that's what it's meant to be about.

I mean it wasn't a big thing and at the time it was kind of funny but even though the event is half forgotten and a bit blurry now it still kind of bugs me occasionally and I wish I had made a bigger thing of it.

There should be national nobhead register for airsofters.

Anyone who gets aggressive or cheats badly enough to be kicked gets entered on it and banned from all sites for a year.

Fuck sake thats bad crack alright mate, the fact they were planning to lie & tell just proves how much of wankers they seem to be, if i was you i would havd shot the fuck out of them and see if they'd have took any of the hits if they wanted to butch about it lol, but it is sad when things like this happen to the sport it does put a downer on the day for you alright

Unfortunately we are getting to the point where on body camera become as necessary as dash cams on road.

What we need are more severe penalties for proven cheaters (I.e. caught on camera).

But this need to be coming as an initiative from site owners to protect regular players.

As a meantime solutions for cheaters I propose double (multi) tap.it is hard to deny being hit while jumping up and down massaging bottom.

I agree with a lot that's been said. I started playing back in 2001 and left after about 5 years because of other elements taking over. Having dabbled every now and then and recently having got back into it I can say it's definitely changed.

Many years ago I used to Marshall at a site called Wiltshire war zone. It was a small site with a good group. However, our solution to making sure people took their hits and played well was simple. All marshalls carried rifles. Where we had doubts we would wait and at a given opportunity, mainly they were not in contact, we would shoot them. If they took it instant regen. If not warning and we would do it again at some point. Not taking it meant instant booting off.

Now some would say that's a tad unfair but it worked. We never had issues. All players were warned every game day and we only ever booted one player. Hard to argue when your shot at 40m with an upgraded sniper rifle and there is another Marshall stood beside said infringer and knew it was coming and the hit was seen by the firer and also seen and heard by the Marshall stood next to them.

This I must add is totally different to player marshalls. We never played whilst marshalling and I don't necessarily agree with that method of marshalling. Although I do understand the potential validity I also can appreciate the problems.

Agreee with this. Whats the point of playing a game where you shoot and get shot if you can hack it after a single hit?

I always double tap in CQB games so this type of bloke would love me....

If you dont like the pain then wear some thicker clothes or armour up.

It doesn't hurt that much when you get shot with an aa12. Its such a low fps that if you are wearing anything thicker than a t-shirt you barely feel it. The aa12 is one of the most pointless airsoft guns ever. Trigger response and rof isn,t that great I reckon its a lot worse coming up against a player who can rattle the trigger fast or has a gigh rof gun.
I don't think its the pain that bothers him it's more the fact that you actually shot him more times than he feels necessary, but he is a bit sod for not taking hits as well so whats necessary depends on your point of view.

I Still find getting shot funny. Most painful hits i get are usually followed by a laugh. Although i really dont mind being almost point blanked.

Tbh aslong as my teeth and eyes are safe i couldnt care less.

I think its great. Like shotguns but dont like gas and prefer the play style so i really enjoy it
