WE m4 aeg hop up problem!

Hi,

Has anyone experienced problems with m4 hop units? In the way that when I try and set the hop correctly in order to make the bb fly straighter, the bb tends to more or less drop out of the end of the gun!

Does it need time to bed in? Only put about 300-400 rounds through it so far.

It's ok when I wind the hop off but like I say, the range isn't great. Also when I put it through the chrono, it was achieving about 250-260 fps with .20 bb's which doesn't sound too great!

I had one and they are toss to be honest, I installed a Prowin CNC hop up chamber and it added around 50 FPS so the airseal on my old hop up must of been terrible. http://m.ebay.com/itm/181124160080

It took about 20 minutes of gentle sanding with my Katana I'll take a picture when I'm home.

I bought prowin hop up chamber and I have a problem to fit it in my WE Katana Raptor. Thanks for any suggestions how to adjust (sanding) the chamber.

You dont need to take too much off, just a little at a time. Get it chrono'd when your done mine gained about 50fps
