Hey all, going to be ordering a VFC M16A1. Normally I’d get 5/6 spare mags but funds aren’t as spare as I’d like.

Is it possible to speedloader out on the field the magazines with ease? My VFC ak takes a standard speedloader like a champ so would be nice to know I can quickly reload the 20 rounders and get back into the game ?

Either an adapter for a normal speedloader or find a 3d printed Odin adapter.

Pretty easy with the supplied speed loader. I glue the VFC-specific bit on so I don't lose it

Honestly the pistol style speedloaders are better imo. Bit more handy and a 20 rounder takes like four pumps to fill.

Odins are more useful for battering 120 rounds into a midcap really quick. You tend to need to adjust the clutch for GBB mags, it can struggle against the heavier springs.

This. My running tally before I gave up on them is 7 originals and 21 nuprol clones destroyed in 2 years before i gave up. (I only put odin in as the adapters can be useful for just loading with a manual loader at times)
