VFC hop unit

Hi all I have recently purchased a VFC M4 e series which is absolutely blinding, however the only disappointing thing is that it didn't come with a tight bore barrel so I'm going to stick one in. I was also looking at a new hop unit, at the moment I'm looking at the madbull ultimate hop unit but have heard metal units can cause the bbs to scratch and lose accuracy so was just wondering if anyone could recommend another unit or any other suggestions. Seems strange that most manufacturers put metal units in as standard if they scratch and damage bb's

The madbull unit is a good choice, as are their barrels and rubbers

To be honest mate its only what I've heard on reviews on the web. Probably will go for the madbull unless another one geta recommened

The mad bull chamber is good especially when used with a mad bull bucking and barrel.

If using other brands for barrels and stuff I'd go with the pro win chamber, it always seems to get brilliant reviews wherever I read about it.

I have the 3 in 1 hop unit in my VFC 416 and it's bloody brill mate, would definetely recommend getting one.

Are you also running a TBB with it dude?

Not yet as I'm saving up for a new rig but even with a standard barrel it's awesome and the range is great.

I'd highly recommend the lonex/asg hop unit, really get a near perfect air seal, my gearbox seal is pretty much perfect, soon as I installed the hop unit in I gained 20fps straight away. Shows how much my stock plastic unit was leaking and I hadn't even suspected it. I use it with a modify hybrid tightbore.
