VFC AKS74u

Hey everyone, just wanted to see if anyone has one of the newer batches of VFC AKS74u and if they've had any issues with it? I'm really torn between the 74m and the 74u but I'm a bit apprehensive about the rate of fire issues on the shorter variant.

Thanks, I just don’t want a lemon, I know theirs always a chance regardless but the second batch AK74m’s should hopefully have had more of there flaws worked out

The second batch ak74m (And subsequent batches after, think it's like batch 7 now?) have fixed the issues of the batch 1, however the batch 1 also runs fine. The only issues with the 74U current batch is the auto issue, which is only reported in a small amount

The first VFC AKs had full auto issues that seemed to be related to dry output valves in the magazines. My 74u was a bit poor to begin with on full auto, but fine on semi. Current theory among owners is inconsistent paint application to the BCG, as once the fun wears in a bit (1200ish rounds) the full auto problem goes on its own.

A few people have rushed it along by sanding the bolt.
