Upgrading EBB AEGs

Been looking into a few upgrades. I have a CXP-HOG with Electric Blow Back... Will this prevent me from carrying out what I have read on upgrading AEG's? Or will this mean there is a whole new field for me to look into?

The main gearbox is basically standard other than the bit that flaps the ejection port cover back and forth. Most if not all of what you've read about AEG upgrades will hold true.
