upgrading a gearbox for high rof

hi their im looking to make a custom gearbox with a rof at around 25 rps and i know about anti reversal latches springs motors etc but dont know what the differance between a full teeth and half teeth piston,short stroking a piston and gear and also what ratio gears i should have,as i dont want the rof too high as im not a bad shot.

p.s i will be using a 3700mah 9.6v battery

get your shims right, make everything run flawlessly and whack an 11.1 LiPo in and you should achieve it fine.
