i want to upgrade the spring in my l96 sniper rifle does any one know what spring would be better than the standard one??

what spring is in ATM, what make is it, model?

What is its current FPS? bear in mind most sites put a limit around 450/500FPS for a bolt action rifle.

i have no idea its a standard spring i have done no mods it says it does 450 fps

sorry i cant be more helpfull unless it says on the spring?

You need to chrono it to see what fps it is actually supplying and if it says it should do 450 out the box u shouldn't need to upgrade it unless if course it's below 300fps maybe. Also why do you need it to have a high fps?

its just i shot my m8 from 80yrds away and he said he didnt really feel anything i just want it to be able to hurt it might be just me as i have never been airsofting before as i am no were near a site but 80 - 100 yrds dosnt feel very far away but it doesnt help i am only using .25 bbs bcuz i cant find a website that has any heavier bbs in stock

but yes thankyou i will look for a chronograph just to be shure

I think I do, you want range but what you don't understand is if you do get that range you wont be able to hit fudge. Work on your accuracy.
