Upgrade for Specna Arms SA-C07

Hi 

I bought my son a Upgrade for Specna Arms SA-C07 and looking to upgrade it its got a m90 spring with the 11.1 battery it's shooting at 0.90j with 0.25g bbs just looking to make it better for him any recommendations for Barrel and bucking also would a 100 spring be too high ?cheers

For UK sites you can generally go just under 350 fps with 0.2s (1.14 joules), so if you try to reach 330 fps (1 joule) it should be good with some safe margin for variance, so the m100 spring should normally be ok

For .25 to up to .35s I would suggest the maple leaf super macaron hop, since you are using 0.25 which is on the lighter end of the spectrum a 50 or 60 degree rubber would be good, and also get the maple leaf omega nub so the hop is applied correctly

And see if you are happy with the results, if not you can think about the barrel but I don't think it is as critical as the hob

Sort the shit air seal first

Piston head, nozzle and hop rubber need to be replaced.

Good shout on the Super Macaron + Omega nub combo, pick a 60 or a 70 (they're infinitely better than 50s, which are way too soft)

Stock barrel is fine, just give it a good clean.

The battery only effects the trigger response and rate of fire, not the energy.  Good job for talking in terms of BB weight and Joules. FPS and 0.2g BBs is 20th century thinking.  I prefer 0.28g BBs for woodland AEG use.

Are you intending to take the gearbox apart?

If not, then I agree with an M100 spring, the Maple Leaf rubber (I'd go 60 degrees for UK use, Skara lives on the surface of Mercury) and a Maple Leaf or XT Omega nub.  ZCI barrels are decent for the price, although I agree with just cleaning the stock barrel first and seeing how you get on (with the Maple Leaf rubber and nub).

If you want to dive inside, then I'd test the air seal before throwing parts at it. Stretching the piston ring over the cylinder and applying some gentle heat can seal it right up.

I'd be wary about throwing everything at it, as some upgrades are sidegrades or downgrades, and if you replace multiple things at once you can never be sure which part made the gun better (or worse).
