Umatex/Glock G19X Recoil Spring

Hello,

I have just gotten my second G19X. The first was returned due to constant double feeds. The issue I am having now is that when I do an emergency reload the slide will not return and fire a BB because the tension spring dose not have enough strength to overcome the pressure my thumb is placing against the slide after depressing the slide release. I can not/will not modify my grip or manipulation of the firearm because I am using Airsoft as a RL training tool.

Dose anyone know if, wear, or how I can modify the firearm to correct this issue.

This is not a firearm, the power of recoil is nowhere near the real steel. Try a stiffer recoil spring, ideally with a CO2 propelled mag.

You can't expect an airsoft Glock to behave like a RS Glock fella...

I’d suggest ditching airsoft guns and buy a blank firer, as has been said, you’ll never get it to act fully like a real firearm

I'm fairly sure like your 19X, they're made by VFC. So I wouldn't expect anything drastically different.
