I've got an ASG B&T Tracer unit. It's good and performs well, however it emits a red light from the barrel. So it can give your position away in the dark.

Is this an issue all tracer units have?

Or does anyone know of tracer unit that doesn't do this?

Do you mean the light showing it is active?

Mine has one, you can cover with electrical tape, if it really bothers you, but the tracers BBs probably give away your position anyway.

Cheers

G

No it's not a light showing it's active. It's a red glow emitting from down the barrel.

It gives you're position away, before you've fired.

Cleaners inc – what TM tracer model do you have?

When DefconAirsoft finally send my tracer unit out. Ill let you know if mine does. Ive only been waiting since friday!!!

All B&T tracer units do it is normal, stupid but normal. None of the other common units do.

Why are people answering about none relevant tracer units?

If you do not know why waffle pointless info and just confuse people more?

Didnt know there was another?

just the standard Tokyo Marui tracer. I also have the ASG one which does have a constant red light on inside

not cheap though

The asg is B&T

TM have a gen 1 and gen 2 but you should only be able to buy the gen 2 as it replaced the gen 1 a couple of years ago.

And the Xcortech XT501 MK2 doesn't have the red glowing emanating from inside the barrel?
