TM M14 SOCOM Painting?

Right, trying to decide if i should paint it or not and if i do paint it which scheme to follow.

ok so here is a pic of it in its current state

so i was wondering should i leave it as is

or remove the tape that is currently covering the gun so it looks more like this

or paint it either the same pattern as the tape like so

or how i was originally going to paint it black hawk down style

(sand with brown stripes)

any ideas?

The tape has got to go whatever, and the mag pulls could look more attractive.

Out of the choices I would go black hawk down style however I think digi would look best.. just my opinion though.

and the mag pulls do look a bit funny so im gonna spray 'em with a bit of krylon
