Tm glock 18c

Hi looking for some advice. Took my glock 18c apart for the first time and now I’m having an issue with the slide. The gun fires fine but once the mag is empty the slide doesn’t stay back and it will continue to dry fire. Anyone got any ideas?

either the slide isn’t coming back far enough, or the catch isn’t engaging with the slide and/or mag

Is the magazine spring still under retention, as that might not be moving the latch up.  Also is there enough silicon oil within the slide and moving parts?
