Just arrived.

Was dry as balls out the box, a quick lube and it did 35 rounds before even starting to think about slowing on a 10 second charge of abbey gas.

my G34.5 slide arrived today! Love it ?

testament to how far guarder have come, this slide was drop in. Just needed some oil. The last gen3 slide I bought from them took hours of sanding to get it to run smoothly.

The gen5 seems more forgiving. 

other than a mafioso slide, the other gen5 slides I’ve fitted haven’t required any effort to get working well.

you can get the guarder or detonator aluminium slides to within a few grams of the stock slide if you install the lightweight BBU and it runs very well.
