Hey guys,
So I picked up this tippmann from on here which was styled as an xm177, however after using it last Sunday with my Vietnam war kit I didn’t find the bottle comfortable in the buttpack and have decided to build a mk18 out of it instead.
Now, tippmanns are completely new to me and their build design is also very new. I’ve taken it down today and fitted an AEG MK18 rail from a Specna and it’s all gone on perfectly except the outer barrel. It wobbles like crazy and can spin around which as I found out can pull out the entire lot.
I thought about trying to a barrel spacer to slide to the bottom to hold the barrel in its spot but wondering if there’s an easier fix or if anybody has had the same issue?
Also, I’m 99% sure I put the inner barrel in correctly but want to make sure… The window on the barrel goes upwards?
