Timed BFGs - are there any other options?

Recently bought an Oshiboom impact grenade but sold it before I'd even had a chance to use it because I realised just how useless it would be for the kind of woodland I play in where 6 months of the year the ground is far too soft to detonate it.

I've set my sights on timed BFGs, but I'm not massively impressed by the offerings from Dynatex or SWAT because I'd like something with a little less bulk to it. I can't find any other timed BFG, but do any exist? If so, has anyone had any experience with them?

Failing that, the SWAT VTG is what I'll probably spring for. If anyone has used one, how long is the 'break in' period (where it allegedly detonates after just 1.5-2 seconds, rather than the usual 3.5)? Thanks.

Ive had my VTG for years now and the 'break in' period is still ongoing, 3-4 seconds is still how long it takes to go boom.

TLD MX80 is a timed alternative to a BFG, but they're not as cheap to run.
