Tightbore benefit for a smaller barrel length?

Bastards are good but expensive. If you're trigger happy then perhaps the G&G or ASG ones would be better.

Also the Bastards are kinda hard to get a hold of these days.

I'm not particularly trigger happy, but always willing to save a few pennies (Cheapsoft all the way!)

Saw some G&G ones going cheaper than what I used to pay for Excel.

I meant I can get trigger happy to burn through all the .20 I have now - so I don't waste it.

But normally I'm pretty good. I'm that guy who always carries 12 mags but only uses 2. But I have to have the spares.....just incase!

I realise it was a contradiction though. That's me all over.lol.

Just to rekindle an old thread;

Just ordered a Prometheus 6.03 barrel and a Purple Rubber Nub thingy will follow shortly.

Going to look into getting some .28 BBs soon too.

I've got an old TM Hop Unit going spare I can use. Is there really much point in buying an *upgrade* for the unit itself? Most of the work is done by the barrel and the rubber, isn't it?

Probably not; just try the old unit and see how it goes first.

You may be able to get one that has a better air seal, but you'll be as well off seeing how the old one works first.

Like Hudson says: Don't bother. If the PTFE/Teflon tape and floss don't get you a good airseal then maybe consider a new hop unit. Until then, try those options.

The TM Hop *seems* fine, so I'll muddle along with it for a while.

6weeks until I have a Sunday off and I'll be able to actually get a game in. With the upgrades, I might just hit someone this time
