This is rather a hard choice for me...purely because I keep changing my mind and I also don't have a massive knowledge base on world forces etc...

Now, I would like a theme for my load out, currently, thinking either PMC or SF as it could quite easily be then used for woodland or urban CQB without looking out of place in either scenario...

As said, what else could I do apart from SF or PMC?

Or...sticking with SF / PMC, what sort of kit would I need?

I am kinda settled on this rifle: http://www.zerooneairsoft.com/product_info...roducts_id=6263

and this vest: http://www.military1st.co.uk/10720005-mil-...est-coyote.html

Will they stick out as SF / PMC? or would they be more suited towards a diff type of 'theme'

Thanks as always...

Nothing wrong with G&G rifles and should suit your theme.

As regards the vest, unless you are left handed, the set up of the M4 mag pouches is on the wrong side, presuming they are fixed, not MOLLE. You normally want mags on the side/hand that you use to hold the front handguard, not on your trigger hand, as that will slow mag changes and mean you have to re-aquire your target after taking your hand away from the pistol grip each time you need to change the mag.

Oh. Wow really? Im right handed :-(

Shame...I liked that vest. Ah well I'll look for another vest that will suit the them and have the mags in right place!!

what rr01 said about the vest is true, however this is airsoft not the real world so if a mag change takes a second or 2 longer it doesnt really matter. i ran a similar cross draw vest and didnt run into any problems was very light, comfortable and no where near as restricting as alot of the molle plate carriers that are about.

if your useing hi caps then the vest will do fine as you wont be changing mags much in game if at all and you refill between games anyway. if you want midcaps or lows id suggest something with more pouchs though.

edit: actionhobbies have a few similar vests that have more mag pouchs instead of a holster

Thanks for the links to actionhobbies, REALLY liking these vests - which would best suit for woodland/CQB

Lots of links -

I think they all suit the SF or PMC type theme...so which would really be the best universal vest for equipment etc...

Cheers

any of them will do what you need but have you played at a site yet? as what you want can change once you get into play.

what do you want to carry ? if its just mags then id go for the smaller plate carriers you linked.

Due to work commitments and various things, my first game date is the 4th March here: http://www.urbanassault.org.uk/

So yes, I guess you are right.

I guess apart from mags/BB's I dont know what else I will carry until I have played

id wait until you have atleast gone once before buying anything.

if your hireing you will only get a highcap mag so you wont need to carry anything other than a bag of bbs
