Is there a release date for season 3 yet?
Or even a rough time of year? I remember hearing it's meant to be quite soon after season 2 ended, so I'm thinking around autumn or winter?

Here's the latest news from AMC
Walking Dead Season 3
- starts filming in May 2012 in the town of Senoia, GA
- The waterfall camp is located on Elders Mill Road in Senoia, GA
- 16 episodes are planned (there will be a break after 8 episodes, like this season)
- should start airing the 2nd or 3rd week of October 2012
- Producer Glen Mazzarra said the prison storyline will continue through Season 3 AND 4. He wants the show to run for 7 seasons.
- Michael Rooker has said he will reprise his role as Merle Dixon
- David Morrissey has been cast as The Governor
- Danai Gurira has been cast as Michonne
- Marvin Duerkholz has been cast as Phillip Eagle (new character?)
- Carol's ex husband will return in a flashback in ep 3.1
- Morgan and Dwayne will return in Season 3
- The character of Tyrese will appear in Season 3

Despite having already watched it, and being able to watch online pretty much whenever I want, I still feel I have to watch Season 2 of The Walking Dead again - just because it's on actual TV..

Too many breaks!! Haven't actually seen this half of season one though, so once it's finished, I'm going to have to watch Season two again to get myself back on track..

Game of Thrones is hotting up now, anyone else following it? The Imp is god damn awesome in my opinion, him and his guard are my favourite characters.

It's a HBO series like The Pacific and Band of Brothers except it's a fictional story based on a series of novels called "A Song of Ice and Fire"
It's set in a sort of alternate 9-10th century England (I assume it's England anyway, it probably has another name in the books or whatever) and it's all about the feuds between the ruling families of the separate kingdoms or regions. All medieval with swords and bows and pet wolves and mysterious woodland creatures and sh*t like that, plus there's loads of inbuilt folklore and superstitions and all sorts of stuff, like there's these indestructible creatures beyond "The North Wall", which I sort of think of as the boarder to Scotland.
Which makes sense because the Scots are all mental :lol:
It's seriously, amazingly good, at least on par with The Walking Dead and it sort of unfolds and dramatises everything in a similar fashion, there's always several things happening at once, different stories to follow etc.
I demand that you watch it immediately!
