The best MILSIM ever?

Hey Man,
Right now our team uses woodland marpat, although for events like this we normally use British DPM, although very common in the UK its very rare out here so it makes us stand out, plus it works very well!

Our team is manily expat based with myself, one other British guy, and two Americans. The british guy is ex Para, and the two Americans are one ex marine and one ex special forces so I get taught all sorts of cool stuff. We should give the filipino teams a good run for the money!

The only thing I'm really concerned about is the snakes, Cobra's are quite common so we have to watch our step. Other than that it should be great fun. I'm gonna try and take sh*t loads of pictures as roping out a huey helicopter is pretty much a one time deal. I'm gonna take my iPod and listen to either one of these tracks on the helicopter flight out.....haha

yea, DPM would work well in the tropics, a digital pattern wouldn't so much, MARPAT is designed for canada, and thus should me worn in canada (i think its safe to say I am the resident Digital camo hater)

as for the snakes, just keep an eye out but don't be sh*tting yourself, they'll probably move out of the way if not just give them a wide birth

and the music, where's ride of the valkyries???

also, when you're camping whats the rules of taking eye protection off etc.? you can't really sleep with goggles on?

thanks

Because that song it Utter bollocks.........do you accept the fact that they will proberbly be in tents so googles could be taken off?

yea but its fitting :)

oh so they use tents i would have guessed tarps and bashers but if tents then makes sense

well still bashers bivvys, what ever you use not much of a worry of BBs getting though, As after all it should never be any higher then knee hight :D and your burgen takes up the footwell while vests and webbing takes up headroom

okay cool, sorry to sound so n00by, I don't know anything about weekenders, but they sound like fun!

Weekenders are just too fun, get some rat packs include some night ops and go bat sh*t crazy

once i get a bit more pro, I'll have a look for one, would definately be up for a night raid

how old are you? most are 16/18+

If you talk to the site management and tell them your a responsible player they usually let you in.

Also fortunate son is the song to play in a helicopter. Failing that jimi Hendrix

Hey everyone this is my first post and as iv lived in the Philippines also for 5 years and the OP is my good friend i thought i would pop on and let you know about the Philippines. I was at the last Milsim in Ternate cavite called Baptism of fire and fighting it out with the Marine force recon unit special operations. I can say it was one hell of a fight over 2 days jungle, cliffs crystal blue waters and a lot of sweat but we managed to pull through that grueling 2 days FPS limit was 550 so it was not too bad. The gear we went in was US woodland camo and i was using my m4 carbine but a poor fps at 420. i will attached some photos of recent photos in the Philippines.

Myself and the OP play for one of the oldest airsoft teams in the Philippines name Semper Fidelis the team has been going since 1994.

Airsoft is so popular here its untrue huge 100 hectare jungle sites, military jeep insertions, D-Day style beach assaults repelling out of helicopters etc etc so if ever any guys feel the need to take a holiday and play here look us up and and im sure we will kit you out with the gear. The best thing is the game fees are cheap only 1 pound for a full day. Thanks guys for taking the time out to read this.

Wow...

420fps for an AEG...

Well, we can dream. Over here it's limited to 350. 370 at a strong push if the gun's spring's not worn in yet.

Yer and that's min stock, in fact Dan bought an M4 at stock of 460fps a couple of weeks ago then i think upgraded it with a 150 spring making it over 500fps we never have any problems here except some zombies and when i got hit with a 700fps and .43 aluminum coated BBs god that hurt but only a big welt so not too bad, im just glad it was not at close range!!!!!

looks amazing! did you all have to wear full face?

also aluminium coated bbs that sounds dangerous!

Yer full face is defo a must otherwise serious injuries would occur but too be honest i would never do an open fps again its not worth it the picture i will add was taken from the open fps game we did so the welt was not too bad just under my left arm.
