Tank Day

I dont know if this is any use for future reference, I once went here on a random day out & it was fantastic & they (Used to) let you climb on & get inside the tanks etc.

I dont live anywhere near this place but it was a great place to go.

What a tit, I forgot to put the link on.

Are you still planning to come to this ?

I honestly can't say @mo, Baz. I'd like to, but there are some things I'm having to juggle. If you've got a place to fill and a person who definitely wants it, give it to them, because I cannot be less vague for a while...

No problem. We have another month or so until the museum will need commitment and payment.

In Russia we work in this case with army. They report about that event like military-patriotic.And everybody happy.Of course , the fuel and driver coast we take.

Tow years ago we rent tank polygon for game for 1000 persons. When we check it we found a tank T 72 whit the ammunition load. Then we call to colonel. As hi cursed.

Did he charge you extra for the added realism ?

No, but i learned a lot of new words.

And see the speed with which soldiers run when hi he faces 1-5 years of dizbat.( special devision for soldier how break the low in army).

They removed it, we were given less social dangerous transport.

The law of the army carry round, square roll.

If you must to move some big and round(like a ball) you must carry it in you hands, if you must to move some thing square (like a box) you must roll it like a ball.

Some times in Russian army soldiers are sweeping a asphalt by steel breakages ( if you forget you tank for example)or bury cigarette in trench in all grown if it was in wrong place.Russian army it's very interesting place.

Ah, got it.

There's a right way, a wrong way, and then there's the army way.

Nobody knows why, because if anybody asks, they get more trouble!

I bet it was the same for the Romans...

Guys

We still have a few places left if anybody is interested.

Innit tho!?! I've got to get myself to Ukraine and Russia for a strikeball roadtrip! Fly to Kiev, buy a well used ex-army truck, head south to Odessa, east along the coast, north to Moscow, St. Petersberg, east to Nizhny Novgorod, south to Volgograd, NE to Saratov, Samara, Tolyatti, Kazan, Izhevsk, Yekaterinberg, east to Omsk, Novosibirsk, Tomsk, Krasnoyarsk, North for a mad one into Siberia, South again to Irkutsk, East to I dunno, but ending up looking at Sarah Palin's house and showing her my perfectly formed bare arse!

Actually must get Murmansk and Arkangel in too...

The money...

Just a reminder that the museum has agreed to donate £2 per person attending back to a service charity.

OK mate - well I can keep it open for a bit longer. Its 6 weeks away and you may feel different by then.

I can probably even give you a lift if you don't feel like driving.
