Spring Snipers...

Hi,

I need a bit of help, I want to get a spring sniper but I need to be able to get the parts to change it to and from 360fps - 500fps (Local site and Ground Zero) I don't really mind what sniper it is but not Double Eagle, HFC etc. Has anyone got any ideas on what would be the best to get parts for etc.

jg vsr 10 mate, decent out the box and fully TM compatible and very upgradable

had mine a few years and swapped a few parts, still getting 400-405fps consistantly

Other people might tell you this is a bad idea, I'm not into sniping so I don't know, but if you look on Zero One then you can buy a few of the Tokyo Marui VSR-10 sniper series pre-upgraded.

They're quite pricey but it'll probably come out cheaper than if you bought the gun and all the parts separately.

As Ed says, tm Vsr 10, look for second hand pre upgraded ones they can go for quire cheap

ive just got a tm l96 aws and it is excellent,a gorrila could take it apart and the parts are not bad priced on zero one,the sears dont need upgrading as they are solid.

Knowing tm they will after 400 fps though, I've heard quite a bit about the feeding mechanism breaking too

Ok, so I have decided to get a TM VSR-10 G-Spec and get these upgrade parts:

Laylax PSS10 150 Spring (I will put this in around august)

Reinforced sears

Laylax PSS10 High Pressure Piston

Laylax PSS10 Stainless Smooth Bearing Spring Guide

Does anyone know if getting a new piston will loose the quietness of the gun?

The spring alone would do that, it happens, not much you can do about it.

I'd say you're better off upgrading the barrel and hop parts first
