Can a decent spring shotgun be as accurate as an AEG?

If it's doing the same or similar FPS with a decent barrel I assume it would have the same accuracy and range as any AEG, is this right? Of course hop up has to be considered

Most don't have a hop, & if it's triple barrels then the cylinder air displaced is divided by three, so low fps essentially,

BUT

Can be a lot of fun & very satisfying in cqb sites, just be prepared to be outgunned in woodland.

I was just thinking for cheap plinking primarily, I'd rather spend £60-80 on a cheap shotgun for playing around with that could also be skirmished than a cheap crap aeg of the same price.

Spring Shotties can get a hard life, & when something fails they usually end up in the bin, so I'd recommend plenty of research on brands before parting with any money.

Personally I've found cyma springers to be very good, & they can be found with metal bodies etc which one would hope extends the life a little, bur not in the price bracket you mentioned,  unless you can find one in the classifieds here  ?.
