Hi all, Im looking to buy an AEG rifle in the Uk and my budget is up to £500. Ive a few in mind but after trawling through different posts for a few days im still not quite sure which to choose.

Im still fairly new to airsoft but am building a realistic military loadout, ive got some of the older osprey webbing and body armour covers and an old mk6 helmet. I will weight to these to simulate what a real life setup would be. Ideally id like a full size m4 rifle to go with this which would be good for field and CQB. Id prefer not to do any upgrades straight away.

I'd be grateful for any help in choosing from the below or if you have any other suggestions.

Thanks in advance

If you're going for a "realistic military loadout" why are you looking for an M4?
Don't get me wrong I like M4's & AR15 platforms in general & they are very customisable but it sounds like you're going for a look that screams out for an L85.

Yeah, an L85 would be more in keeping with the whole loadout i agree. On all my searching tho the m4 seems to have the most models and seem to be the most popular. I was thinking an m4 would also be a good crossover between the L85 and the L129A1?

There are certainly plenty of variations of AR15/M16/M4 etc to consider & wouldn't be unheard of for British forces to use an AR.
