Just finished this book, It is pretty good.
It covers this guys tour (a British soldier), and basically they end up in some real pickles. And by pickles I mean ambushes, sieges and massive firefights.
Thrown in there, are some first hand accounts of some amazing sniping (author is the Sniper Platoons leader), the appearance of an AC 130 gunship (and the effect it has on ground targets) and much more.
