I have been using shooting glasses for NRL and PRS rifle shooting over the past year. However, I have noticed that all of them have poor quality lenses that deteriorate with use. While they are effective for safety purposes, they compromise the viewing experience through high-end optics, appearing cheap and of low quality. Has anyone discovered a solution to this issue?

Hi Edd, while your chosen sport is somewhat outside of our purview, what brand of glasses are you using. Personally I've not had any issue with glasses from people like ESS or Revision but we don't deal with anything near the optical quality you do!

I’m currently using Magpul Apex (tinted for summer use) out to 600yds with no real problems

No idea if there is anything better (there’s bound to be lol)

Wiley X Saber Advanced are solid and hold up well, IME.

Gatorz' milspec lenses are great too, frames can be a bit Tacticool though - pricey, but a worthwhile investment.

Revision Sawflys get my vote.

I have two pairs, one of which is used as everyday sunglasses..

Generally anything from reputable manufacturers will do the trick.

Seconded.  I’ve got a pair of Sawfly’s and Stingerhawk’s and they’re both outstanding for clarity and a lack of distortion.
