Some of you probably know me and my shotguns from other groups, for those of you that don't: I make semi-automatic Tri-shot shotguns using Cyma and Tokyo Marui spring tri-shots.
The same engine is used across CYMA and TM tri-shots but it's not a drop-in because the internal plastic frames of the shotguns need precise cuts and milling out to make enough room and hold the engine in the right position. They also have changes to how the stocks get mounted due to hose routing.
The engine only works in tri-shots, I think people have failed before when trying to use the AEG style HPA engines in tri-shots because it doesn't have the specificity to the Tri-shot feeding system, which is very sensitive to instability and has a much longer stroke than AEGs.
I can say that the business is accepting 40mm grenade launchers as currency (currently require all barreled types except M203) this is for a project that's about as cool as semi-auto shotguns are
