Hello people! Thought I'd drop a hello to everyone!
I'm not really a newbie but thought I'd say hi. I'm a long time returning player. I'm in my mid 40s and living in South London.
I used to be fairly active in airsoft in the 2000s and I remember the old airsoft forums, UKAN and ASCUK before they disappeared - now I'm showing my age!
I didn't go that regularly to airsoft sites during this time, maybe 2-4 times a years as I didn't have my own car and was also living with my parents after university. I had to rely on my sister and brother-in-law to take me to Ambush and the now closed Combat South or Elite Action Games in Worthing!
I used to have a stack loads of AEGs - around 7 when I stopped playing around 2011. Sold all except 3 when I ended up buying a house and my life and hobbies and interest took my life down another path. I actually got my first AEG from the now defunct Airsoft Dynamics in late 2001. I still have it and currently getting it looked at by Tactical Airsoft in the hope it still can be used. It was in storage in my parents for the last 15 years unused and is probably a museum piece now! That and together with a AGM M14 and CYMA AK74 from the late 2000s were the only ones I still have from my original collection.
Starting to get back in to airsoft as my nephews are now pestering me to take them for their first skirmish, so thought I'd drop a hello as now I am back in the UK after spending last 5 years working in the Czech Republic and ready to get back into airsofting.
Looking online, there are multiple sites near me in South East London, although my nephews are in Ramsgate area! There maybe times I will go by myself near South East London, most likely Tactical Airsoft as it is my closest, so I'd thought to say hello to all!
