Removal of flash hider

I want to fit a silencer on my VFC umarex 416c - how do I remove the flash hider? Any advice greatly appreciated....

should just twist off, might be an allen key screw securing it though.

Probably has a counter clockwise thread too, so it will undo the opposite way to what you're used to for screws, bolts, and taps.

Great, tks - will take another look, just don't want to bugger it up by being too heavy handed

Yea if you look right where the flash hider ends (At the gun end, like where it connects to the barrel) there should be a little grub screw. Take it out, being careful not to lose the little bugger, then just twist the flash hider off.
