Recommend Me a Back up AEG (£150ish)

Good evening everyone,

I'm looking for a backup AEG for around £150 max. 

I currently have a Specna arms E07 which I'm planning on upgrading.

I've been looking at a Specna arms core M4 as they still have the reliable e&c gearbox. Or the G&G raider 2.0.

Any opinions/advice would be greatly appreciated.

I did look at this thread the other day but couldn't find many other user reviews.

Almost unbelievable for the money, with all its features.

Thing is if the polish retailers have got it in stock, worth grabbing before Jan 1st, otherwise you'll get screwed on duty etc, & I think it's nigh on double at UK sellers.

I'd have one, but I've got about 12 gats already lol

I've been tempted DE M904 for some time, especially since the re-stock. The only thing that puts me off is the FCU - not heard anything (good or bad) about the reliability.

If you want a reasonably cheap from a UK retailer, I would get the cheapest Specna Core (C01 or C02) and a cheapo chinese keymod rail from Aliexpress. You will probably need a new motor and hop bucking too.

Pretty decent for the money - shoots well out of the box. But it's ICS, so not everyone's cup of tea.

Specna Core of your liking with a better motor and hop rubber.

Maybe a tiny GATE mosfet if you use 11.1s

I decided to take a punt on the DE honey badger. Looks like a fun gun and for £120 posted I think it's worth it. 

Should be fine for a backup. I have some bits from ak2m4 turning up soon to improve my sa-e07 soon.
