I've just come into possession of a genuine Eotech, however it needs some kind of servicing or repairs done to it regarding the battery compartment and battery contacts.

I believe the model is a Eotech 511 but not entirely sure.

Can anyone point me in the direction of any tech who can perhaps help get this working?

At the bottom of the battery compartment is a leaf spring or a rubber bumper with two springs in . Yank it out with something pointy pointy sticky sticky, give it a clean with alcohol (some good 90% isopropyl stuff) and ether give the leaf spring a slight ben toward the sight or the two smaller springs a slight stretch. Then pull the rubber bumper off the sight side remove the two metal plugs and springs and do the same (will need some form of adessive to stick the bumper back on under the emitter) If that fails its the electronics and the older modals are no longer supported and would cost more to fix than buy a new one most likely.

Eotech did a guide it seems https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eued-5m1zR8&ab_channel=EOTECH

Ah, so I've taken a look at the bottom of the battery compartment and it doesn't have the rubber bumper or the springs so I'm guessing this is where the issue lies.

Most likely so :). If it was me I would buy a fake one (can find them on AliExpress for like £20) and see if I could scavenge replacements from that.

Hey, I have the same Eotech as you.

Its currently on my PTW which is on its way back from servicing. Once I get it back, I will take some photos of the rubber bit and some measurements. You could make one super easy. Its just rubber with two holes.
