READ Noww! Mauri L96 AWS hop up?

Hi guys,

I've been looking for a TK 510mm twist barrel for my L85 for a while now but the best I can come up with is a 500mm twist barrel for the TM L96 AWS. 1cm isn't going to make a massive difference though...

So I figure, if the AWS uses standard hop up rubbers and no weird specialised ones, there's no reason why it shouldn't fit my L85, right?

Can anyone confirm the L96 uses standard rubbers?

My knowledge of hop components is quite lame, as you may have noticed, it could be that all hop rubbers are essentially the same, but I just want to make sure before I order it.

I'm pretty sure it takes VSR parts in the hop up, (and isn't even good at that)

But would say, a Madbull Blue hop rubber fit around the barrel?

I'm not buying the rifle, I just want the barrel from one.

Is the hop cut in TM sniper barrels the same as the AEG standard? If it is I might just wing it and order one, see what happens.

I imagine Firesupport will take returns if it doesn't fit.

The hop in the l96 is the same as the vsr hop with a little bit trimmed of

But what does that mean?!

I don't know anything about VSRs.

I just want to know if the hole in the Marui barrel is the same size and shape and in the same place as the hole in an AEG barrel, because if it is, I can use it in my L85.
