I recently bought a 1911 from PatrolBase boneyard, and have noticed the gun is missing the barrel end cap and the barrel spring. Took the risk and not quite sure if it was worth it. At the price it is a steal, but that’s only if the gun is playable in this condition or if I can find new parts.
I’ve looked online and can not seem to find either part for sale, and I’m not really sure if there is any specific place for this kind of thing.
I’m at a loss now, as I’m unsure wether I should just look for a new pistol or if it can source new parts.

Thanks in advance

Sadly, rebuild kits don't seem to be much of a thing in the UK.  And I wouldn't throw much money at a Raven: it's Nuprol's budget brand, which is saying something.

If we're talking about the main recoil spring, you can get "upgraded" ones (for airsoft definitions of that word) which might work, e.g. https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/cowcow-rs1-recoil-spring-tm-hi-capa-1911-gbb . If that fits but turns out to be too springy, then you could lop off a coil, stretch then flatten it.

A handy site to bookmark for springs and things is... well... https://springsandthings.me.uk/

Sorry, no idea about the end cap.

Oh, the cap that holds the spring in place?  So they've both sprung into hyperspace?

Could it be part 33 you are missing?

I believe it is #2 on the diagram. Needs to be taken off to access the barrel assembly, and usually has a spring behind, not sure if that’s the recoil spring tho.
It was bought as 2nd hand for £40, and is my first pistol so I’m not majorly fussed, just don’t want to take it to the field first time and it break due to dirt getting inside.
thanks
