Rail screws name / sizes

I've looked on here and google but cant seem to find the answer. 

On a guns rail, what is the name and/or size of a standard screw. I want to remove a sling point at the front but the screws are way too long when it's removed. 

Noob question I know, but I just can't find the answer so I need your help.

Your best bet is to remove one. Take it to a hardware shop, measure it up against another, hen record the size you need and buy from there or online for cheaper.
