Hi, I have seen quite a few people in states use propane gas bottles with magpull adapter as more wallet friendly solution for their guns, also guns performs better in cold weather. Any of You using them in Uk too? Cant seem to find any cheap propane bottles to make it worth while, most of them

are

same cost as green gas bottles already. Cheers

I buy bulk MAPP propane from a certain DIY store, the main advantage is price but there's no difference with Green Gas in winter. The real difference lies with the hop-up. The lack of silicone oil in the propane gets your hop-up to have a better effect on the unlubricated BB.

And use maintenance gas in my mags after the game to keep the joints lubricated.

The challenge is finding a decent propane adapter.

you can buy MAPP and plumbers propane for £5 per 400g online.

The OG adapter was the airsoft innovations adapter. I really regret selling mine.

The Jaeger propane adapter is a pants product *unless* you only plan on using Coleman’s canisters.

Ive had mixed results with the madbull adapters.

I've got the best results with the Bavtac adapter.

To be fair, with adapters, i've always got on just fine with the Aliexpress ones. They tend to last about 3 yrs before the rubber gaskets go, but are super cheap....
