Preparation for cerakote

Just a quick one.

Do the firms offering a cerakote service, require you to remove the factory finish and polish up the metal before posting it?

Or is that generally part of the service?

I have a lot of dealings with Cerakoters very close to me, Supreme Coatings, you’ll find them on Instagram and Facebook.

Whatever is being coated has to be spotlessly clean, so strip it to constituent parts and scrab with washing up liquid, rinse thoroughly.

Supreme offer this service, at a cost, by an experienced airsofter (me!)

They’ll do everything else.
